✨ About Allah
Getting to know our Creator
Allah is One (Tawheed)
Allah is the only God. He has no partner, no children, and nothing is like Him. Believing this with our whole heart is called Tawheed — it is the most important belief in Islam.
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent."
— Surah Al-Ikhlas 112:1-4
Allah Created Everything
Allah created the sky, the earth, the stars, the oceans, the animals, and us. He didn't need any helper or any tools — when He wants something to exist, He simply says "Be," and it is.
Indeed, His command when He intends a thing is that He says to it, "Be," and it is.
— Surah Ya-Sin 36:82
Allah Sees and Hears Everything
Allah sees us wherever we are, even in the dark, and He hears even our quietest whisper. Knowing this helps us try to do good even when nobody else is watching — because Allah always is.
Allah — there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep.
— Ayat al-Kursi, Surah Al-Baqarah 2:255
Allah's Mercy is Endless
Almost every surah in the Quran begins with "In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful." Allah loves to forgive us when we make mistakes and turn back to Him — His mercy is bigger than any sin.
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins."
— Surah Az-Zumar 39:53
How We Show Our Love for Allah
We show we love Allah by praying five times a day, reading and reflecting on the Quran, being honest and kind, helping our family and neighbors, and remembering Him with dhikr throughout our day.
